Description: This piano is an impressive Model O Steinway grand, 5’10”, made around 1910 in the golden era of the first Model Os (serial number 140428), beautifully preserved and restored. The mahogany is deeply colored; the keys are the original ivory; the soundboard is the original and intact; and the pinblocks are strong. In 2011, the piano’s interior was completely refurbished, with complete restringing and complete rebuilding of the action, all with Steinway parts. Its sound is rich and lovely; classic Steinway. It has been lovingly played by three generations of musicians, the last of whom has now moved out of the country.
