Description: I originally purchased this piano when I was still performing as an opera and concert singer. I am hoping to find a dedicated pianist who will truly appreciate the quality and enjoy playing this exceptional instrument. Over the years, the pianists who have had the opportunity to play it have always praised its rich, mellow tone and responsive touch. The FII series C7 Conservatory Grands were produced during a unique period in the 1990s when Yamaha was known for their "hand-built" grands. These pianos stand out from the ordinary C7 models and are truly exceptional instruments. I purchased this piano in September 1991 and have lovingly cared for it throughout the years, although I must admit that my focus was primarily on singing rather than playing the piano. As a result, the piano has been modestly played and remains much younger in terms of actual usage. It is in excellent shape and original condition. For the past two years, the piano has been stored in a Temperature & Humidity Climate Controlled space and currently is being kept at a friend's beautiful home in Mill Valley, where it is regularly tuned and maintained. A comparable newly purchased grand piano of this quality would cost around $80,000. It has been appraised by a professional broker and we are asking $30,0000 but will consider serious offers. Adjustable bench and cover included.
