PEARL RIVER DIGITALS

Pearl River, established in 1956 and now the world’s largest manufacturer of acoustic pianos, has been developing a line of digital pianos over the last decade.  The company has been very successful with it in the domestic Chinese market, and is now expanding distribution internationally, including the U.S. and Canada. Some of the newest models feature technology developed in partnership with Korg.

In 2019, U.S. dealers began receiving the first GP1100 Digital Baby Grands, a model featuring a 3′ 4″ cabinet, a wide assortment of sounds, ensemble accompaniments, built-in songs, and a song-learning educational feature. Coming soon will be a selection of new vertical models, some of which will feature a “Light Guidance” system for learning and practicing songs or exercises, 512-note polyphony, and other features normally found on more costly models.
