Antique Werner Upright Piano
This piano was made in 1914 by the Werner Piano Comapany in Chicago. It was restored in January of 1997. Has been stored in a climate controlled living room. When this instrument is tuned the value is $1,880.00, as appraised by Robert T. F├╝rst, Author of the Bluebook of Pianos, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. His appraisal also ads the comment that 'Werner made pianos are celebrated for their fine, pure quality tone, and further distinguished for the beauty of their case designs. Special attention was given to this important feature of artistic piano making that even the regular models of this line are noteworthy for their simplicity and grace, and their period models are superb examples of the adaption of the decorative art of past centuries to the case of a modern piano.'
