Antique Ludwig & Co. upright piano, circa 1900
Free! Ludwick & Co. Style “L”, made in New York City, Double veneered, mahogany, walnut, and quartered oak carved panels, continuous hinges on top and fall, and pedal soft stop attachment.

The piano has been in our Family for 4 generations. Our great Grandmother and great Grandfather, who emigrated from Norway, were the original purchasers of this Family treasure. Our Grandfather and his 7 siblings grew up playing music on it. Our Mother and her older sisters took lessons on the Ludwig in the ‘20s, ‘30s, and ‘40s.

We had countless gatherings and recitals around this beautiful piece while Family and Friends participated by playing solo and two side by side.

The piano has not been regularly played in the past decade, but it has been in our parents’ home since the '70s, having been passed to us by our Aunt. It needs some T.L.C. as there are surface scratches, and it will need to be tuned.

The dimensions are as follows: 54” high by 59 ½” wide by 26 ½” deep. Approximately 400lbs.

The bench is 21” high by 36” wide by 14 ½” deep. The bench top opens and reveals storage space for sheet music.

We were asking $200, but we have decided to give away for free to the first interested person.
