Nice piano at an affordable price!
During the 60's and 70's, the Baldwin piano company commissioned Kawai to build pianos for them using the name 'Howard' on the fallboard. This is one of those pianos. It is a Kawai piano, model 550.
Overall, this piano is in good condition. The soundboard, bridges and keys are all in excellent condition. The beautiful walnut cabinet shows nice grain pattern. There are two small pieces of veneer missing, but otherwise, the cabinet is in good condition and there is no serious damage.
This instrument did not receive heavy use during its lifetime. The hammers and other action parts show light wear. There is plenty of music left inside of this piano! Matching bench included. Perfect choice for a beginning or intermediate piano student or for anyone who would like to have an attractive and affordable piano in their living room.
