KAWAI KG-1D
Exceptionally nice Kawai KG-1D. Not a 'grey market' import, this was purchased new in 1986 here in the USA. If you love the sound of a Kawai you will LOVE this baby grand! Crisp, responsive touch. Bell-like clarity in the treble. Stentorian warmth in the tenor. And unexpected depth and resonance in the bass. Capable of heart-pounding fortissimos and sensuously delicate pianissimos. Minimal wear on hammers and action parts. 7-year parts and labor warranty.

Wonderful sounding piano! Crisp, responsive touch. Bell-like clarity in the treble. Stentorian warmth in the tenor. Unexpected depth and resonance in the bass. Capable of tremendous fortissimos and delicate pianissimos. Very low mileage on the hammers and action.

The inlaid polished brass lettering 'K. KAWAI' on the fallboard honors Koichi Kawai (1886-1955), the revered founder of Kawai Corporation who engineered and produced Japan's premier piano for classical performance. This KG-1 can handle jazz and pop just as easily as any Yamaha but its distincitve scale design puts less emphasis on the fundamental, instead creating a warmer, richer palette of sound more suitable to the late Romantic piano repertoire.

Price includes 7-year parts & labor warranty, local ground-floor delivery and tuning, and Florida sales tax if applicable.
