J&C Fischer (Naessens) Upright solid teak
This American piano was assembled in Indonesia in c. 1915 by W. Naessens & Co. with an unusual solid wood (teak) case. It was designed to withstand the tropical climate. Brass fittings in excellent condition. Keys: plastic naturals and sharps in good condition. Strings and Action: original in good condition. Pin block: original, with firm 2/0 tuning pins. Sound board: original in excellent condition with no separations and secure ribs. Tuning: A440.
