Knabe 56in Upright Grand - Rosewood - partially restored - c
I am moving and unfortunately can't take my Knabe piano with me. This beautiful, massive piano would be an incredible addition to someone's more-established house (i.e., someone not renting?). Great sound, action, and antique look. Piano is in good condition with a few scratches but no major damage. (I find that amazing, considering this piano almost dates back to the Civil War.) More details:

-Brazilian rosewood with ivory keys (some edges are chipped)
-56' height x 27' deep x 64' width
-Previously restored as a pet project. All action was replaced (and it feels great!) and most of the strings were, too.
-Noticeable crack on soundboard that must have prevented replacement of strings on the bottom two octaves. So they are original (and still sound great to me)!
-Big sound, somewhat 'tinny.' Would sing with a little Scott Joplin...
-Priced to sell ($800). Antique Piano Shop estimates value at between $800 and $3000 for this old a piano in average to good condition (http://antiquepianoshop.com/sell-your-instrument/instrument-value/)
-Not tuned in 8 years (but held a tune prior to that)

*Will not ship. Cash only. Buyer is responsible for picking up and moving the piano. I recommend professional movers, since this is a very heavy piano. Piano is on the first floor with only one small step up.
