Evoca1, is a figurative painter, street artist and designer based in Miami,
Florida. “Evoca1 is the name I picked up a few years ago while I was still illegally pasting my sketches in the street. The name comes from the Spanish word ‘Evocar’, which translates ‘to evoke’. I have always tried to raise awareness to social and global issues with the hopes of evoking some kind of emotion in people through my work... I’ve always wanted to do something to give back and wanted to find a way to use my artistic ability to help those less fortunate.”

Evoca1 uses most his inspiration from man- kind’s constant fight to excel. In late 2010, Evoca1 established the Sketches For Mankind Project: a humanitarian effort dedicated to feeding 100+ homeless people in Downtown Miami, on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Evoca1 tries to merge art and humanity together. He started the ‘Sketches for Mankind‘ project to raise awareness of local and worldwide issues through his art, all while raising funds to aid the needs of the homeless community in Miami. Evoca1 is currently living and working in Miami, where he continues to develop his craft and tours across the world sharing his art though his murals.

To date he’s completed murals in Peru, Dominican Republic, Vienna, Canada, Rio and multiple countries in Europe. Most recently Evoca1 has been featured in Street Art News, Complex Magazine and Juxtapoz Magazine as one of the top emerging artists in the street art world.
