STEINWAY Rare Art Deco Piano by
This extremely "Jazz Age" rare Art Deco case was designed for Steinway in the late 1930s by the Eames Era designer Walter Dorwin Teague. Only a limited number of these unusual and highly prized pianos were constructed and they are near impossible to find. While Steinway has created replica pianos of the "Gatsby era" in recent years, this is 100% original from 1941 and is sure to be a center of attention is any room. We acquired this piano from a Hollywood Hills Estate . This particular style is also featured in the Ronald V. Ratcliffe book entitled “Steinway” and listed in the Steinway Archives as sketch no. 1064- “Modern Look.”
