Mason & Hamlin Model A rebuilt by Faust Harrison Pianos
Mason & Hamlin Model A, circa 1912. This piano was fully rebuilt and refinished by Faust Harrison Pianos of New York in 2001. The soundboard, the pinblock, the strings, and the action parts were all replaced. The original ivory key covers were fully restored. A new hand-rubbed satin lacquer finish was applied. The piano is in excellent condition with a few very light surface scratches. It has been maintained in an air conditioned and humidity controlled environment with no direct sunlight. Additionally, the piano has a Dampp-Chasser humidity control unit under the soundboard. A similarly rebuilt and refinished Mason & Hamlin Model A would sell for $35,000 at Faust Harrison in New York.
