Steinway Upright Model K 52

Steinway K 52 from the 1920s. Recently tuned at 440. New keys! I wanted to replace them since the ivory was too old and chipped. The set of keys alone cost $700. Pin block is in great shape and pins are tight. Holds its tune for years. The bass section is richer than many grand pianos I've played in the past. In fact this piano has the same soundboard size, in terms of square inches, of a Steinway M which is a grand piano. The mid section is dark and powerful as well. High section is very rich and clear. Piano is mechanically sound. This piano is not just an amazing piece of furniture but also a great piano for practice, composing and arranging, or any other professional use for which it was originally created. Cosmetically, fair condition and it still projects great style and a mesmerizing design. Absolutely a collector's item. Price is slightly negotiable.
