C. BECHSTEIN M-180 CLASSIC GRAND - FLAWLESS

C. BECHSTEIN M-180 CLASSIC GRAND PIANO w/PIANODISK PLAYER - This lightly played C. Bechstein was manufactured in 1999, purchased new, and was delivered directly from Berlin, Germany, to my home in Texas in early 2000. It has been played only occasionally, has been in a carefully controlled environment, and has not been exposed to the sun or other heat sources. If you are searching for a high-end piano and believe Steinway is the best, I suggest you have a conversation with a dealer who handles both C. Bechstein and Steinway pianos before making this important investment. This instrument is for sale by the original owner, and at a third of the cost of a new C. Bechstein of comparable size. The case measures 71'' long, 58.25' wide, and 12' high. The finish is a flawless gloss black. Piano comes with the matching Bechstein bench. The PianoDisk player was installed by local professionals, and the control box is attached to the left side below the case so it is conveniently out of view. Since it was installed, the PianoDisk player has been used only three times for less than six hours of total use (I do regret not using the PianoDisk more during the cocktail hour or sitting with guests by the fire). The Renner action on this piano is very easy on the fingers, and the sound is truly glorious. Overall, the sound, the Renner action, and the beautiful workmanship put this instrument above the rest...Steinway included.
