Boston-built Mason & Hamlin AA Grand. Except for the plastic keytops, this piano is in totally original condition. It has never been rebuilt, but it is quite playable in its present condition and still holds a tuning well. The cabinet has several niks, dings and scuff marks and a few small pieces of missing veneer. The music rack and lyre are in good condition. The hammers show medium wear but have plenty of felt remaining. The knuckles and backchecks are in good condition showing no wear-through. The bridges are in excellent condition with no splits or cracks. The soundboard has several hairline splits that have been repaired. The piano is very powerful, with good volume and depth of tone. This piano is equipped with a humidity control system. Piano stool is included. This instrument can be played "as-is" for several more years, or it would be an excellent candidate for rebuilding.
