Rosewood Bechstein faithfully restored to original condition

This piano has the distinction of being originally manufactured when Carl Bechstein was the head of the company. It has been painstakingly restored and has the classic Bechstein sound together with the responsiveness of a modern grand piano. Where possible original parts have been retained and reconditioned. This has been done to ensure that the sound is as close as possible to that of the instrument when it came off the factory floor. However the piano has new strings and pinblock to ensure durability. The original turned legs, fretted music stand, ornate lyre and keys and other casework have been retained and fully restored.
