1888 Rosewood Steinway D, reconditioned, in beautiful shape
This 1888 Rosewood Steinway D is a treasure. Reconditioned by the brilliant Steinway technicians at the Oberlin Conservatory, John Cavanaugh and Robert Murphy, the piano has a new action, polished plate, and new ivories. The soundboard is original (Czech Spruce, no longer used) and in beautiful shape. It possesses the regal, noble sound of the great old Steinways. I really want to find this spectacular piano a great home, and will offer a free recital to the buyer.
