Steinway Louis XV model B
This is a superb piano in excellent condition. It was rebuilt by Klavierhaus, Inc. of NYC in 2002. Their restorations are exemplary and famous in the trade. The work on this piano includes new Hamburg Steinway action parts (hammers, shanks, wippens, dampers, etc.), new pin block, strings and soundboard, plus restoration of the walnut carvings and veneer with a slightly porous satin finish. The original ivory key tops have been polished, and some replaced. It has the tonal and dynamic range of the very best Steinway model B grands. This piano is ready for the most demanding musical use. It is in the home of the architect-artist owner in Washington Depot, CT. Offers welcome.
