Quarter Grand PLAYER, Ivory keys
We believe this is a circa 1948- Chickering Quarter Grand Player Piano with real ivory keys. Plays good (although not tuned in years due to sound board) Solid Brass fittings including pedals, feet w/wheels & hinges. This is a fixer-upper. It was appraised as is about 11 years ago for $4500. Appraiser advised whatever amount you refurbed it would recover in re-sale. Items that need attention: Finish- several scratches throughout surfaces with the biggest issue, at top of lid where a candle burned down to the wood. Some ivory keys are chipped on edge(s). Sound board is cracked. Player unit has not worked in decades- all tubes & bladders need replacing. Motor(s)- unknown condition. We might be able to assist in transportation since I have trucks going all over the country from time to time. *** Currently in Williamsburg, Va but can help to deliver in DC area
